Flying to New Hampshire

This was posted on facebook the morning Elder Clifford left.  This isn't his group but it's fun to see the missionaries at the Trax station on their way to the airport.

Elder Clifford called us bright and early from the airport.  He was so excited to be finally on his way to New Hampshire!

We had asked him to take a picture when he went on the 'disco' walkway at the Detroit airport during his layover.  It's a family tradition.

He took a picture with his tablet during the flight.

The New Hampshire Manchester Mission has fun traditions of their own.  The Mission President's wife, Sister Blair, makes a video of the new missionaries arriving at the airport.  What a blessing for a worried parent to see that their child arrived safely!!  We are so grateful to her for this fun tradition.

Momma Clifford had asked Elder Clifford that if there was a video to make some sort of signal to let her know he was ok.  When he walked by and make a heart sign it made her day!

We're not sure why Elder C chose to stand behind the balloons!!

Another tradition Sister Blair has is to make a video with the new missionary introducing their companion and then announce where they will be serving.

He will be in Rockport Maine and in a trio!  His companions are Elder Wendel and Elder Harper.  We are excited to learn more about his companions and the area he will be living in.  We don't know very much about his area yet but a quick google search showed that it is very beautiful there.

He just missed the lobster festival by only a few weeks!!

The mission office sent us these pictures of him:
